Spartan Controls is committed to environmental leadership.

Spartan provides innovative environmental solutions that help industries significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency.

Through technologies like low-bleed pneumatic instruments, burner management systems, and methane capture systems such as SlipStream, Spartan has enabled the removal of over 11.1 megatonnes of CO₂e from the atmosphere—equivalent to taking more than 800,000 cars off the road. Our solutions support corporate ESG goals by combining automation, clean technology, and data-driven optimization to drive sustainable industrial performance.

MSAPR - What is it?

The Multi-Sector Air Pollutants Regulations (MSAPR) are federal rules under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act that set limits on nitrogen oxides (NOₓ) emissions from industrial equipment like boilers, heaters, and stationary engines. These regulations aim to reduce air pollution and improve air quality across Canada by applying consistent emission standards across multiple industrial sectors. Some of these rules are already in effect. Additional requirements take place December 31, 2025.

New NOx limits come into effect January 1st 2026
